Mostly, no. As of 26 October 2026, Meta Muse, OpenAI's dots and Grok Bot are each built around one person, and none has a household plan where your partner's own account uses the same memory. What you can share is your agent's memory.
Keep it in a memory layer your agent connects to, share a space with your partner, and they ask whichever assistant they've connected, or open the space on the web. We re-read each vendor's own pages on 26 October 2026. The sharing that does exist is built for other situations: Grok's Team Bots are for work teams, ChatGPT's shared projects need everyone in ChatGPT, and Google's CC is one family agent, US only, with a waitlist.
Here's what each one does well, and where its sharing stops.
Which AI agents can you share with a partner?
Checked 26 October 2026:
| Product | Built for | Shares memory with other people? |
|---|---|---|
| Meta Muse | One person, on their own isolated computer | Nothing documented |
| OpenAI dots | Its owner | Nothing documented. Only the owner directs a dot |
| Grok Bot | You, in your own chats | Team memory, through Team Bots on Teams and Enterprise plans |
| ChatGPT shared projects | A group, inside ChatGPT | Project context, on every plan, for up to 5 people on Free |
| Google CC | One agent for the whole family | Yes, for up to six members in the US |
Can I share Meta Muse with my partner?
Muse launched in the US on 8 September 2026. It's good at remembering you, and Meta lets you see what it knows. Its help centre says it plainly: "You can edit and delete information in the Memory.md file directly." You can also download your chats, files and other agent information from its data controls.
It is personal by design. In Meta's words: "Every Muse user's VM is isolated so that no one else's agent can access it." We found no documented way to share Muse's memory, or a shared space, with another person. On privacy, Meta has also announced Muse Confidential VM for later this year, encrypted "with a key only they hold". That's a stronger promise than ours, and the FAQ below says why.
Can two people share an OpenAI dot?
OpenAI introduced dots on 29 September 2026. A dot is an always-on agent that uses the plugins you've already set up: "Plugin permissions are shared across dots, ChatGPT, ChatGPT Work, and Codex." Dots are rolling out to Pro users aged 18 and over outside the European Economic Area, Switzerland and the UK, and to Business Premium users.
A dot works for one person. From OpenAI's admin guide: "Only the owner can direct their dot through a Slack direct message or supported channel mention. Messages from other people do not start work." OpenAI's FAQ also says you "currently cannot view, delete, or directly modify individual dot memories".
Does Grok Bot have a family plan?
Grok Bot opened in beta on 11 August 2026, and it's included on X Subscription Premium, Super and Ultra. Its sharing is real, and it's built for work. From the Team Bots documentation: "When someone tells the Bot something the whole team should know, it saves it to team memory, which every teammate's conversation reads." xAI launched Team Bots in public beta on Teams and Enterprise plans on 28 September.
The Grok Bot terms grant use "for Customer's internal business purposes", and there's no family plan. A user asked for one on the vendor's forum on 23 August: "one subscription and one bill, with completely separate agents for each person."
Can my partner and I share ChatGPT memory?
If you both use ChatGPT, start here. Project sharing is available on every ChatGPT plan, Free included, for up to 5 collaborators on Free, 10 on Plus and Go, and 100 on Pro. It costs nothing extra.
The catch is that you both work inside ChatGPT, and personal memory stays personal: shared projects "cannot access an individual member's memories". The same holds for ChatGPT Space: "Each collaborator works with their own ChatGPT." It's a great choice when you're both on ChatGPT. JustOnce is for when you aren't: each of you connects the assistant you prefer to the same space, or opens it on the web.
Is Google CC a family AI agent?
Google's CC is the closest thing to a household agent today. Since 17 September 2026 it has had its own Google account, up to six members and a shared memory. It's for people aged 18 and over in the US with a personal Google account, and new users join a waitlist. It's one agent the whole family talks to. We compare it with sharing your own agent's memory in Google CC or your own agent's memory, shared?
How do I share my agent's memory with my partner?
JustOnce is a memory layer your assistant connects to. You tell your agent the facts once and hand it the documents and photos; your AI reads the file, saves what it says, and keeps the original with it. Then, on Plus or Pro, you share a space with your partner.
- Invite them by email. Invite anyone by email — no account needed. They create a free one, then accept.
- They ask their own way. Your partner asks their own assistant, and the answer comes back credited to the person who shared it ("Shared with you by Sam"). Or they open the space in the JustOnce web app.
- Files go with their memory. Share the memory a file is attached to and the file goes with it — members open it in the web app.
- You approve every share your assistant asks for. When your assistant asks to share something or invite someone, nothing is shared or sent until you approve it in JustOnce, and we ask you to confirm it's you.
- Only what you share is shared. Your own memories stay private. A space holds what someone deliberately put in it, and nothing is copied out of your vault.
- Members join free. Recall and search are always free, on every plan.
Plus includes 1 shared space and Pro includes 3; Free is your personal space only. The sharing guide has the steps, and the sharing page explains roles and closing a space. If you run a personal agent, the table below has each one's status, and the agents page keeps the full board.
Which assistants connect to JustOnce today?
As of 26 October 2026:
| Assistant | State |
|---|---|
| Claude (claude.ai, Claude Desktop, the Claude app, Claude Code) | Works. Custom connectors are on every Claude plan, and Free allows one, which is all JustOnce needs |
| ChatGPT | Works on Business, Enterprise and Edu, on the web. Recall only on Pro, where OpenAI gives custom MCP servers read/fetch access. Free and Go don't offer it; Plus is unconfirmed |
| Cursor, VS Code, Gemini CLI, Codex CLI | Works |
| Windsurf | Testing |
| Grok Bot | Testing. JustOnce now accepts the sign-in addresses Grok Bot uses, but we haven't finished a live test of a real connection |
| OpenAI dots | Not yet. A dot uses the plugins in your ChatGPT account, and we haven't tested dots |
| Meta Muse | Not yet. Meta documents no route for this kind of connection |
| The Gemini app and Google CC | Not yet |
We move an assistant to "Works" only after a live check passes, and we update this table as checks finish. The setup guide and the connect page have the steps.
FAQ
My partner uses ChatGPT. Can they still use the space?
On ChatGPT Business, Enterprise or Edu they can connect JustOnce (on Pro it can read but not save), but we haven't yet tested shared spaces in ChatGPT. For now they can open the space at app.justonce.ai and read what you shared there.
Can my partner's assistant open the insurance PDF I shared?
The file is in the space; members open it in the web app. When they ask their assistant, it answers from the facts saved with the file, like the excess and the claims line, credited to you.
What does it cost my partner?
Nothing to join. Members join free, and recall and search are always free, on every plan. You need Plus or Pro to own the shared space.
Is it end-to-end encrypted?
No. It's encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM — memories under a key for their space, documents under a key for your account. JustOnce holds the keys, so it isn't end-to-end.
